How does it work?
We post our menu here under the Avanti Take-Out Menu tab on the Avanti website, which will feature all of our newest arrivals and best sales. Rest assured, our menu is merely a fraction of the products we have available at Avanti; customers can request any item, and if we have it in stock, we’ll get it to you. Otherwise, we may be able to arrange a special order.
Ordering Items
To request an item, please fill out the form located below this titled “ORDER HERE” with your name, phone number, email, preferred method of service (info below), the products you’d like, and your preferred store location. This form is a direct contact to Roger (our owner), and you can expect a response within 24 hours of submission. If you have not received a confirmation after 24 hours, please re-submit your order.
Service Options
(Free) Curbside Pick-Up: We will maintain our social distancing by bringing the items out to you at your car. There is no need for customers to even leave the drivers’ seat. Example: You pull up to the curb outside Avanti, call us to indicate that you have arrived, pop your trunk, and we place the order in. Touchless!

Coach’s Tip: Staying In Shape During COVID-19 Closure

With the COVID state-wide shutdown in effect and everyone staying home, the question is: what can you do to stay in tennis shape? I will divide our advice into two programs: Cardio Work-Outs and Tennis-Specific Work-Outs.
Cardio Work-Outs:
1. Brisk walking or hiking: this could be in the neighborhood, local park, or hiking trails.
2. Go jogging/running: intersperse short sprints to get your heart rate up.
3. Bike riding: the Seattle area has many paved bike trails that will give you a good work-out.
A. Burke-Gilman in Seattle: 18 Miles (from Ballard to Bothell)
B. Sammamish River Trail: 11 Miles (From Bothell to Marymoor Park, connects to Burke-Gilman and the East Sammamish Trail)
C. Interurban Trail: 24 Miles (From Shoreline to Everett)
D. Centennial Trail: 33 Miles (From Snohomish to Arlington)
4. Stationary bike, rowing machine, or skipping rope: great cardio work-out, do interval training, or try skipping to music. One song can average 3-8 minutes.
Note: the brisk walking/hiking, bike, stationary bike, and rowing machine are all low impact workouts and easy on the knees.
Tennis-Specific Work-Outs
1. Air swings: with your racquet, you can do this drill in front of a mirror, large windows, or just an open area. From the Ready Position, do a split step, then explode into a Forehand Ground stroke, then split-step back into the Ready Position. Start out with 20, then work up to 30, 40, etc. Pay attention to good Form and Footwork. Swing like you are hitting a real ball. Now do the same for Backhand, Volleys, Overheads, and Serves. Depending on how much room you have, you can take 2-4 steps and recover. Try this to music for rhythm and fun.
2. Hitting against a wall or backboard: some parks have backboards, some schools have long, flat walls. You can even use your garage doors with a Foam or Low-Compression Ball. Pace off enough distance to get to the ball on one bounce. Start with Ground strokes. If you hit Forehands down the line, the ball will stay on the Forehand side, try for 20 rallies, then do the same for the backhand side, down the line for 20. Now switch to hitting cross-court which will alternate Forehand to Backhand. Again, try for 20 without any misses. Now move up and do the same sequence for Volleys. The beauty of hitting Volleys against a wall is that it cuts down on your reaction time and forces you to use a short punching motion. To hit Overheads, flick the ball down at an angle 1-2 feet from the base of the wall. The ball will angle up like a lob and you can practice Overheads. Now pace off distance for Serving. You can serve and catch and do 20 serves quickly, then you can serve and rally out points using Groundstrokes and Volleys. Once the rally is ended, flick a second ball down and end with an Overhead. Now repeat.
Note: The old saying is- you can never beat the wall! Try to maintain good Form and Footwork on all of the above getting to the ball on one bounce.
